Founded in 1937, Whitewood Group was originally established by Banford Langill, a securities trader on the floor of the Chicago Stock Exchange. As one of the few traders that profited during the Great Depression, Langill developed our firm with the commitment to sharing these trading strategies and insights with the average investor. Over the next several decades, Whitewood played an important role in financing the growth of American Industry, helping clients navigate the markets through major events like WWII, the 1970's Oil Crisis, the Cold War and the Internet Age. Today, we remain committed to our original pledge of helping retail and corporate clients to realize their financial goals, through the implementation of rigorous yet creative strategies.
